Reopening of Sunday Service and Children Program

According to the new public health guidelines for Ontario, places of worship are allowed to accommodate the number of people for whom 2 metres of distancing can be maintained. Starting on July 18, CLBC is open to accommodate up to 100 congregants to join worship services in person.

We encourage everyone to carefully consider their own circumstance in order to make the decision to attend online or in-person service. Every individual who plans to attend Sunday service, Children Sunday School, Crossings, or Teens Sunday School in person will be required to sign up using the “Pre-Screen Form for Sunday Service & Children Program” by 9:00 AM every Saturday. The form will prompt you to select the service/program type(s) you will be attending (you can choose more than one). Or, you can call church @ 416-297-8787 and leave a message to be called back for pre-screening. Anyone who does not pass the screening process will not be allowed to attend service in person.

Details can be found here: CLBC Covid-19 Protocol Aug 10 2021-English

At the same time, we will continue to provide online services via Zoom links:

Prayer Meeting Update

On the third Sunday of each month, an in-person English congregation prayer meeting will take place at 11:00 AM in the basement as an extension to English Service.

See you at the tent!

For the next few Sundays, we will be setting up a tent on our church parking lot with tables and chairs so that everyone can mingle and reconnect during the time gap between English and Chinese Service. We will have the opportunity to interact with our larger church family. Those from the Chinese Service will have the tent up by 10:15 AM, and will bring their coffee and breakfast to enjoy while catching up with each other. English Service attendees are welcome to join the tent when our service ends at around 10:45 AM. Our contribution will be to help take down the tent and put back the tables and chairs when we are done our chat at around 11:15 AM.
