Duration
This is a paid part-time position for 10-13 hours per week.
Eligibility
- Canadian citizens or permanent residents
- Legally entitled to work in Canada
- Police reference check and two references will be requested
- Mature Christian who desires to grow in Jesus
Demonstrated Qualities
- Enjoy developing healthy relationships with students
- Able to communicate and work with parents and leaders
- A team player who collaborates with other teams during weekend service and events
- Consistent, regular engagement and participation of church life (ex Worship Service)
- Ability to adapt to a continually evolving environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Able to bring task-oriented projects to completion
- Ability and aptitude in developing people is an asset
- Enrolled in a graduate theology program from an accredited university/seminary
- Fun to work with
Responsibilities
- Organize weekly gatherings for Junior High / High School / University student
- Assess and improve upon ways of developing youth toward spiritual maturity
- Provide and receive feedback to and from leaders and supervisor
- Become a contributing and frequent participant in the life of the community for the time of employment
- Teach in Teens Sunday School
- Lead high school & university fellowship

- Ministries, activities, programs, events are running smoothly
- Youth are being developed as Jesus Followers and cared for

- Assess and improve upon ways of developing youth toward spiritual maturity
- Learn to teach, teach to learn
- Provide and receive feedback to and from leaders and supervisor
- Become a contributing and frequent participant in the life of the community for the time of employment

- Ministries, activities, programs, events are running smoothly
- Youth are being developed as Jesus Followers and cared for
- Received ongoing leadership training, coaching and mentoring from supervisor

Responsibilities
- Develop children from age 3.5 to 13 through songs, stories, and prayers
- Teach in a Children Sunday School class
- Lead Awana games; get involved in handbook time and large group message
- Communicate with teachers and parents on a regular basis
- Provide and receive feedback to and from leaders and supervisor
- Become a contributing and frequent participant in the life of the community for the time of employment
