Create a gratitude jar \u00e2\u20ac\u201c great for your family or classroom. I love that it\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s so easy to implement!\" width=\"161\" height=\"242\" \/><\/div>\n<div><strong>At home:<\/strong><\/div>\n<div><span id=\"m_-5369086225484126146m_426113895355434886E550\">Several weeks before Thanksgiving, decorate a jar or vase and put it in a\u00a0<\/span>prominent place.<\/div>\n<div>Provide slips of paper with the words \u201cI am thankful for&#8230;\u201d printed on them. Leave markers and pencils with the paper at the jar.<\/div>\n<div><span id=\"m_-5369086225484126146m_426113895355434886E553\">As Thanksgiving approaches, encourage family or friends, or your small group, to record what they are thankful for, sign the paper and put it in the jar. Small children can draw a picture of what they are thankful for, or get help from someone older. There is no limit as to how many each person can contribute.\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span id=\"m_-5369086225484126146m_426113895355434886E557\">At your thanksgiving meal, open the jar and read the many blessings that have been recorded there.\u00a0<\/span><span id=\"m_-5369086225484126146m_426113895355434886E558\">Pray together.<\/span><\/div>\n<p id=\"m_-5369086225484126146m_426113895355434886E559\" style=\"text-align: center;\">\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Dear God:<\/strong><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>We give thanks to you and proclaim your greatness. We remember the good things you have done for us and have shared them together. We give thanks to you because you are good. Your faithful loves endures forever. AMEN.<\/strong><\/div>\n<p id=\"m_-5369086225484126146m_426113895355434886E564\">\n<div><span id=\"m_-5369086225484126146m_426113895355434886E429\">This year, include\u00a0people who may not have a family to celebrate Thanksgiving with.<\/span><\/div>\n<div><strong>If visitors are coming:<\/strong><\/div>\n<div><span id=\"m_-5369086225484126146m_426113895355434886E568\">Invite them to participate in this activity\u00a0before they arrive.
